Some people are born to teach. Others are born to write. I've been blessed to do both — and to discover that the greatest joy of all is helping others find their own voice.

As a junior high and high school history and English teacher, I found deep fulfillment in gathering small groups of students, drawing out their strengths, and watching their confidence grow. That same calling followed me into life coaching, where I completed my certification through New Life Coaching, Inc. — equipping me to help people discover meaning, purpose, and the fullness of who God created them to be.

Writing, for me, is not optional — it’s how I breathe. Ideas arrive uninvited and insist on being written down. That irresistible pull is what led me to become a traditionally published author of historical Western fiction—and it’s what fuels my passion for helping other writers bring their stories to life.
 

My writing journey hasn’t been easy. After 15 years of writing and submitting manuscripts—facing rejection after rejection—I finally received a “yes” from a traditional publisher. That long road taught me what it really takes to grow, persevere, and succeed as a writer.
