About the KRYVR Radio Show
This is the show for anyone who’s ever longed for simpler, more innocent times—country roads, small-town charm, and the comfort of familiar voices on the radio.

Created, written, and voiced by Julie Morrill, KRYVR is a podcast radio station broadcasting from the wonderfully odd, always-behind-the-times town of the fictional Kiskatoon River Valley.

Inspired by my own childhood in Siskiyou County’s backcountry—as well as the wit and warmth of Kevin Sullivan’s Wind at My Back, Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion, and a dash of Mayberry from The Andy Griffith Show—this retro-style audio program blends storytelling, clean humor, gentle satire, and nostalgic sound effects into a cozy escape from today’s heavy world.
Our mission? To make you smile, sigh, or maybe laugh out loud while folding laundry, driving to work, or sipping a hot cup of tea late at night.

This isn’t true crime. It’s not breaking news. It’s hometown radio as it might have been—hijacked by a slightly sarcastic English and history teacher with a soft spot for quirky characters, small-town life, and funny animal antics.
Welcome to KRYVR. Stay as long as you like.
